Impossible 5-Ingredient Chocolate Cake




INGREDIENTS:
  • 1 16-oz. carton sour cream
  • 1 egg
  • 1 chocolate cake mix
  • 1 box instant chocolate pudding mix
  • 1 bag chocolate chips (see notes)

INSTRUCTIONS:
1. Preheat oven to 325 degrees. Grease and flour a bundt pan well (I use the cooking spray
with the flour in it) then set aside.
2. Combine sour cream and egg in a large bowl or stand-mixer (fitted with paddle attachment)
then stir or blend until combined. Add cake mix and pudding mix then stir or blend until mixed
well. Stir or blend in chocolate chips (reserving 1/3 cup for garnish if desired) until evenly
combined.
3. Bake at 325 degrees for 45-55 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the middle comes out
clean. Cool in pan for 30 minutes then invert onto a serving plate to finish cooling.
4. Garnish with powdered sugar if desired. Cover and store at room temperature.

Vanilla Meringue Cookies

Ingredients 3 large egg whites 1-1/2 teaspoons clear or regular vanilla extract 1/4 teaspoon cream of tartar Dash salt 2/3 cup sugar Directions Place egg whites in a small bowl; let stand at room temperature 30 minutes. Preheat oven to 250°. Add vanilla, cream of tartar and salt to egg whites; beat on medium speed until foamy. Gradually add sugar, 1 tablespoon at a time, beating on high after each addition until sugar is dissolved. Continue beating until stiff glossy peaks form, about 7 minutes. Ingredients 1 1/3 cup mashed bananas 2 1/2 tablespoons lemon juice divided 1 1/2 cups milk 3 cups flour 1 1/2 teaspoons baking soda 1/4 teaspoon salt 2/3 cup butter softened 1 cup white sugar 1/2 cup brown sugar 3 large eggs 1 teaspoons vanilla FROSTING 8 oz cream cheese 1/3 cup butter softened 3-3 1/2 cups powdered sugar 1 teaspoon lemon juice 1 1/2 teaspoons lemon zest from 1 lemon Instructions Preheat oven to 350°.
